Xiao Han joined Dx assays as a Scientist in 2010. Currently he is leading his team on the development and validation of a companion diagnostic assay to detect different mutations of an oncogene for the European markets.
Xiao Han obtained his undergraduate education in National University of Singapore (2003) under MOE scholarship. After graduation, he joined the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology to systematically study SARS-CoV and host interactions using the yeast two hybrid system. In 2007, he was awarded a PhD scholarship from Scottish Funding Council to pursue a PhD degree in molecular virology in University of St Andrews, United Kingdom. PhD studies focused on Influenza A virus modulation of host innate immunity and characterization of interferon-induced antiviral molecules.
His personal interests include reading, jogging and traveling.
